The DOJO is a
very different kind of
Martial Arts Education

The World is a much LARGER place than the 3,000 square feet of space at The DOJO.
Our life's Purpose?

To manifest the qualities of the martial arts outside of the realm of a kick, punch or throw and outside of the martial art school and into our everyday lives. To MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the world with what we learn & teach at The DOJO. When we teach martial arts we are really teaching about LIFE.

Most people are never hurt by a punch or kick. Everyday I see many people hurt by their own diet, low self esteem, moral vertigo, their own attitude and just hanging around negative peer groups.

The SOLUTION?
The DOJO by it's very nature attracts like minded individuals who are about personal development, selfless service, growth. They evolve as human beings. Parents of the students are seeking a martial arts education that cultivates an exceptional attitude in their children.

This IS Self Defense.

This kind of Self Defense empowers us with the knowledge, skill set & tool set we need to be effective people, highly evolved human beings and people who contribute to their families, communities and ultimately the world. This is the Ultimate Black Belt Test & we have A LOT of FUN while doing it too!
The Journey of 1,000 Miles Begins with a Single Step.
We take that first step towards our personal greatness through our martial arts training. We also have learned that it is not the destination but the journey. The Journey is where the lessons may be found and the real growth occurs. We welcome the task that makes us go beyond ourselves. It matters not if you are a 4 year old student or if you are one of our adult students (such as our many golden age students in their 40's, 50's & 60's) each can learn, & contribute in their own way. Perhaps it is self defense, focus, discipline, confidence, fitness, healthy eating, leadership, service projects, to learn the martial arts, have a positve mentor & role model, fun, or just to be a part of something bigger than oneself. Each student, parent and member at The DOJO come for their own path and purpose & they stay because they discover it.
