As a parent myself and a martial arts educator teaching thousands of children, tweens and teens in our community, I give young people the tools they need to not get bullied and to not become a bully themselves.
I am sharing this video with you to offer every parent and young one a simple tool in dealing with being a victim of Bullying.
I constantly continue my education, I’ve enrolled in the online course of this speaker as well, it’s offered at a nominal fee. I have already been implementing some of this information into our lessons for children. After I complete the course I’ll be sharing the new stuff of what I’ve learned also. Parents like best that I reinforce what they are teaching their children or if they can’t find the right way to explain it themselves, they have comfort knowing that I can and I do it well. We give children confidence by teaching confidence building in all of our lessons. Children learn skills such as assertive communication and how to properly set a verbal boundary, they learn the proper physiology so they may posture themselves defensively as well as how to simply stand up for themselves non-violently or even just walk away with their head held high.
When it comes to physical self-defense, we teach that and better than most people would. But when it comes to self-defense there are so many things that can be done to prevent being an easy target in the first place. That is where self-defense begins, what we get to talk about and learn before something bad happens is 10 times better than learning it after it occurs.
