Thank You to our community!

Attention Parents...

If you want your children to learn how to defend themselves and fight I can teach that...more importantly I teach people of all ages how to fight against things that really matter.  Kicking hunger out of our community is an example of lessons in Generosity, Kindness, Compassion and Empathy.

Teaching children to fight against mediocrity and apathy, teaching young people to think and to think about others and make a difference, this is our unique martial arts education of intelligent curriculum designed by Sensei Dan Rominski.

TheDOJO Food Drive - Children Making a Difference

Teaching children about compassion, empathy and kindness through TheDOJO Food Drive.

TheDOJO Food Drive is a form of Project Based Leadership Training for children, teens and adults. At TheDOJO we Unleash Human Potential through teaching timeless, self-evident principles; a form of principle centered leadership. This week our life lessons included the concept of compassion, empathy and kindness. What those words mean, and how do take action and live it. A food drive for our local food pantry which helps feed local families, that’s all that’s a teachable moment for moment.

It’s an everyday sight, children and their families walk into TheDOJO to attend class lugging packed bags of groceries. They are so proud that they can make a difference. Little Joseph yesterday brought in 4 bags of Groceries. “Joe, how did you generate all of these donations?” i asked. Little joe replied, “By asking people in my family.” His grandfather further explained how they reached out to family members who graciously supported the project by donating cans of food, school supplies and personal hygiene products.

Parent’s, Childhood is the training ground for later on adult behavior, that’s why we teach punches and kicks in the martial arts but go beyond that to teach the character to control oneself and think about others. Get involved with TheDOJO Food Drive or better yet, try out our lessons. We offer a free month to all new students to try it out.

Rutherford Rec Camp-TheDOJO Sensei Dan Rominski

Teaching Children Peace Education, Non-vonlient conflict resolution, old school self-defense...while having lot's of fun.

Each year we teach, about 1,000 children, at all of the local summer camps such as the YMCA, Rutherford and local town rec. departments, and daycare centers.  These organizations use Sensei Dan Rominski and TheDOJO as their choice because of our level of safety and professionalism, and we are the most effective at teaching children.  Keeping them engaged and interested, while having fun is what children like.  Camp directors, camp councilors, and parents like best that we teach good character qualities such as focus, respect, non-violent conflict resolution, bullying prevention, self-defense, stranger danger, persistence, fitness, anger management, courtesy, random acts of kindness and everything else a child will need in their tool box to evolve into great human beings.

We offer a free month of martial art lessons to all new students to try out our program before getting enrolled.

It takes a village to raise a child, parents...any questions please call Sensei Dan Rominski at (201) 933-3050 or email Dan@TheDOJO.org
